The scalloped back

One petal form, radiating out.

Flora's back is upholstered in one continuous scalloped form, radiating from a central seam at the base of the seat up to a rounded crown. Each petal is filled with HRR foam and sewn through to hold its shape; the whole back reads as a soft botanical volume from any angle.

Belgian boucle, made by us

Woven in Belgium, made in Romania.

Flora is upholstered in Belgian-mill boucles from the same library our sofas draw from. The frame is kiln-dried plywood; the seat is filled with HRR foam. Every Flora carries a small Mille label sewn into the seam, the only mark on the piece.
